Is a Graduate Degree in Psychology for Me?
Psychologists are scientists who attempt to understand the fundamental patterns and causes of behavior and mental activities of people and animals. They do so by asking the question, "Why do individual living organisms do the things they do?" Unlike clinical psychologists involved with the treatment of mental disorders, the Experimental Psychologists at FAU attempt to understand the interactions among the brain, mind, and behavior, as well as the variety of variables that Influence these interactions. FAU DOES NOT OFFER A GRADUATE DEGREE IN CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGY OR COUNSELING.
