The Center is working with each academic, research, and industrial organization to ensure that any and all
technology with commercial potential developed in the scope of work funded by money received through the Center
is transferred for the public benefit, while complying with each organization's policies on patents and copyrights.
FAU's Office of Technology Transfer is the focal point for communication among the participants on these matters
and will coordinate the interactions and transactions that involve the Center. The Enterprise Development
Corporation of South Florida is providing business related assistance in launching a start-up or spin-out company
that may be the appropriate platform for further product development.
